We are an alcohol rehab facility in Fort Wayne, IN where we can help you detox from alcohol, treat your alcohol addition and live productively in sobriety.
Alcohol Treatment Model & Program
Fort Wayne Recovery provides dual diagnosis treatment that offers various levels of care in an out-patient environment to address substance use disorders and mental health disorders. Sober living housing for participants is also available.
Each level of care provides: individual and family therapy, case management, sober activities on weekends, catered lunch and/or dinner, medication management with our nurse practitioner, access to the Spiece gym, and transport to sober support meetings in the local community. Our program addresses the whole person – body, mind, and spirit.
There is a strong focus on supporting the individual to make progress in all areas of their life including physical health, relationships, sober support, mental health, employment, and education.

Levels of care are the levels of treatment a client works through while at Fort Wayne Recovery. Changes in level of care are decided by the treatment team, which includes clinical staff, medical staff, and the operations team.

Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT)
A cognitive-behavioral and evidence-based group that aims at decreasing the likelihood of clients returning to substance use. MRT teaches clients to focus on the moral aspect of their disease and the social consequences of addiction. MRT is used in 50 states, 9 countries, and has been utilized for over 30 years.
Seeking Safety
An evidence-based group that assists clients in achieving safety from substance use and/or trauma. It focuses on coping skills to help clients become safer in relationships, thoughts, and actions.
Untangling Relationships
A cognitive-behavioral group that addresses codependency, unhealthy relationships, and the importance of healthy support.
Sober Life Skills
A psychoeducational group that provides information necessary for clients to build a strong recovery foundation.
Organizational Skills
An interactive skills development group where clients address employment, housing, budgeting, and bring structure into their recovery. The group provides an individualized approach to each client. Clients create or refine resumes and develop interview related skills.
DBT Skills Training
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Skills Training group helps clients cope more effectively with intense emotions, addictive behaviors, and/or relationship struggles. DBT Skills are taught to reduce self-destructive behaviors and learn more adaptive ways to manage emotions. These skills include: Mindfulness, Interpersonal Effectiveness, Emotion Regulation, and Distress Tolerance.
Mindfulness
A group designed to introduce clients to various methods of mindfulness, which include breathing techniques, meditation, grounding techniques, progressive muscle relaxation, and other tools that can be used outside of treatment. Clients can learn and practice new ways to cope with stress and emotions.
Sober Activities
An interactive group to assist clients in exploring sober activities. Clients can explore new ways of addressing stress, boredom and other common triggers. Group facilitators provide a wide variety of activities such as yoga, art, cooking lessons, etc.
Processing Group
An interpersonal process group that focuses on the here and now. Clients share and explore current struggles associated with early recovery and participating in treatment.
Skills for Recovery
A psychoeducational group focusing on learning and practicing healthy communication skills, coping skills, and ways to shift unhealthy thinking habits.
Mending Mindsets
A psychoeducational group that focuses on topics related to transitions. Clients explore how to cope with changes such as returning to work, finding new employment, re-connecting with families, and establishing aftercare services once treatment is completed.
Purposeful Processing
An interpersonal process group that focuses on the here and now. Clients can share and explore current struggles associated with various transitions and changes in their lives.
